Best for fairway & lake view glass
Sunscreen roller blinds
Why here: a mesh with a stated openness (roughly 3–5% is the sweet spot for a big view window) cuts glare, heat and UV while you keep the reason you bought the house — the view stays visible through the weave.
The trade-off: it reduces glare, it doesn't erase it, and it gives daytime privacy that reverses after dark. For a room you also sleep in, it needs a blockout partner. It's the cheaper, lighter-touch move than exterior shading — but it manages heat inside the glass rather than stopping it outside.
